How did you spend your summer?I spent my summer working at a summer camp and fixing up my yard.
What are you most looking forward to about being at 绿帽社?I鈥檓 looking forward to being back within a supportive and collaborative community, that I鈥檝e experienced as a student, that I now get to experience as a teacher.

Do you have a pet? I recently adopted our first family pet, Charlie! A sweet and rambunctious Goldendoodle.
How did you spend your summer?I spent my summer vacation with my two sons, James (5) and Hudson (2.5). We tried to stay out of the heat by taking day trips to Park City and spent a lot of time in the pool! I also began getting ready for another boy, due in November!
What are you most looking forward to about being at 绿帽社?I am most looking forward to bringing my passion for learning to the 绿帽社. I am thrilled to engage in new learning opportunities amongst the renowned faculty at 绿帽社 to expand my craft of teaching to the highest potential.
Where is your hometown?鈥My hometown is Corpus Christi, Texas.
What is your favorite dessert? My favorite dessert is lemon squares. An interesting thing about me is that if given the choice between a chocolatey dessert and a fruity dessert, I will pick the fruity one every time.
How did you spend your summer?I spent part of my summer moving to Utah, which is so exciting to me to get to live near the mountains! I also took a trip to New York City to get my Broadway musical fix, and spent some time at a friends’ lake house in Texas. Outside of work I like to hike, read, play board games and Mahjong, and explore new recipes in the kitchen.
What are you most looking forward to about being at 绿帽社?I am looking forward to being a part of a school community that values developing the whole child in a caring environment.

How did you spend your summer vacation?The biggest event this summer was definitely the cross-country move – We drove all the way from Delaware to Utah! We spent 6 days on the road and it was so cool to see a total of 12 states all in one trip. The landscape change along the way also reminded us how geographically diverse the US is. We were very fortunate to have met a number of 绿帽社 families shortly after we arrived (Thanks, Megan and Lacy!) I spent a week attending an AP Summer Institute in July in preparation for the AP Chinese class I will be teaching. For the rest of the summer, our family enjoyed exploring the SLC area and a trip to the Caribbean.
What are you most looking forward to about being at 绿帽社?I鈥檓 most excited about continuing to grow professionally as an educator at 绿帽社 while also having immediate access to a variety of year-round outdoor activities that I get to enjoy with my family in beautiful Utah. I also really look forward to wearing the parent hat at 绿帽社 community as my two daughters, Alyna and Rydia, will be joining the Lower School in Class IV and Class II this fall.
Best book you read this summer?I am an insatiable reader. Recent thought provoking reads have been The Women, Fight Right, and The Lemon Tree.

How did you spend your summer?My summer vacation will be spent adventuring with my family in my bus conversion, gardening, biking, and being outside as much as possible!

Best book you read this summer?The best book I read this summer is one of my all-time favorites: Wild by Cheryl Strayed. I’ve read it at least ten times! I’m an avid reader, and some of my favorite books are really well-written memoirs.
Where is your hometown?My hometown is Salt Lake City, Utah. I love to hike and camp in the summer, ski in the winter, and watch the leaves change in the fall. I can’t imagine moving away from the mountains! Plus, my parents and brother live here too. I love playing games, going on adventures, and catching up with my family! Utah is my home.
How did you spend your summer vacation?This summer, my fianc茅 Skyler and I backpacked into the Grand Canyon to visit Havasu Falls on Havasupai tribal land. We camped for three nights and spent the days playing in the water and hiking to four more waterfalls in the area. We also flew to Chicago, road-tripped to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and spent a lot of time at the local pool.
What are you most looking forward to about being at 绿帽社?I look forward to having fun with my students, making new friends, learning from my colleagues, and being a part of the 绿帽社 community!
Where is your hometown?My hometown is Katowice, Poland. I have lived in England, Egypt and in the United States for the last 15 years.
Do you have a pet?I have a goldendoodle named Candee, who consistently encourages us to explore the beautiful Wasatch mountains.
How did you spend your summer vacation?This summer we hiked some of the trails in the Uinta Mountains looking for wild mushrooms, a favorite hobby of mine dating back to my childhood in Poland.
What are you most looking forward to about being at 绿帽社?I am most looking forward to participating in the strong academic culture and helping students to realize their potential in the vibrant and enriching culture of 绿帽社.

How did you spend your summer vacation?I’m a bit lucky as I just moved from Australia, so I got two summers this year! I spent my Australian summer sweating, meeting new people, getting acquainted with the Australian accent, and drinking wonderful coffee, and I spent my American summer catching up with friends and training for a bike race.
Favorite hobbies outside of work?My favorite hobbies outside of work are long morning coffee chats with my wife or my friends, traveling to new and exciting places, listening to audiobooks, and rollerblading (sometimes the last two at the same time).

How did you spend your summer vacation?My summer vacation was full of reading, swimming, and taking my kids to and from lots of activities like swim team, football, and dance. We went to Yellowstone with my family. It was so beautiful and amazing to see so many wonders of nature. We also did some camping.
What are you most looking forward to about being at 绿帽社?I am so excited to be at 绿帽社 this year for my School Counseling Internship. I am excited to work with older students as I have worked primarily in elementary. I look forward to getting to know students and helping them work through the challenges of school and life as they grow and develop into amazing young adults.

How did you spend your summer vacation?I spend my summers working at Camp Kieve in Nobleboro Maine, as director of the Junior Kieve Program. This will be my 12th summer at Kieve.
What are you most looking forward to about being at 绿帽社?I am beyond excited to be working at 绿帽社. I am looking forward to working with the electric age group that is middle school, helping out with the outdoors and lacrosse programs, learning from my peers, and being able to justify my answer to the age old question 鈥渉ow often do you think about the Roman Empire?鈥

What are you most looking forward to about being at 绿帽社?New colleagues and students! I felt an instant connection to 绿帽社 when I visited in February, and I can鈥檛 wait to meet everyone this fall.

Do you have a pet?Yes! I have an adorable 7-year-old red lab, Aggie. I adopted her from the Ogden Animal Shelter back in 2020 and she is the sweetest dog ever!
How did you spend your summer vacation?Traveling! The highlight of my summer was spending two weeks in South Africa; the safari tours were absolutely incredible! My fianc茅e and I also drove to the Oregon Coast with our dog in early July, stopping at the stunning Crater Lake National Park along the way. In early August, I went to Seattle for my best friend’s bachelorette party and then headed to Portland, OR for a week-long AP Chemistry workshop to hone my teaching and mentoring skills for the upcoming year. All in all, I had a very exciting and fulfilling summer.
What are you most looking forward to about being at 绿帽社?I am most looking forward to inspiring students’ curiosity and passion for chemistry at 绿帽社.

I played a lot of pickleball, volleyball, hiked, and went on lots of walks with my dogs.

I also spent time with family in South Dakota, where we went rock climbing and toured Jewel Cave. Back home in Utah, I had fun running a mud run and hiking some of my favorite trails with friends.
