What are you most looking forward to about being at ÂÌñÉç?As a parent of a ÂÌñÉç student, I was absolutely blown away by the incredible teachers that my daughter had last year as she began PreK-3. I feel very blessed to be a part of the incredible staff here at ÂÌñÉç. I look forward to working with, and learning from, my amazing colleagues.

What is your favorite dessert?​Cake Batter Ice Cream
What is your favorite childhood memory? Growing up, I remember visiting and spending time at my grandparents’ home/cabin in Hobblecreek Canyon. I remember roaming their beautiful yard, walking up and down the small roads, finding and observing the caterpillars and butterflies, and spending time with my extended family. I cherish all the memories there!
What are you most looking forward to about being at ÂÌñÉç? I am looking forward to working with and learning from amazing teachers and faculty and assistant coaching Women’s High School soccer.
What is your favorite music album?​Anything Taylor Swift—I can’t pick a favorite! I have seen her 6 times in concert!

Where is your hometown? Mahway, NJ
What are you most looking forward to about being at ÂÌñÉç? I am looking forward to being a part of the community and contributing to the school culture that fosters curiosity in students and evokes excitement in learning.
Where is your hometown?​I am originally from England, but I have lived in Germany and Switzerland before arriving in Sandy 10 years ago.
Do you have a pet?​I have 2 dogs, both rescues, called Ozzy & Reggie
Who is the most interesting persion you’ve met?I met Princess Diana at a dinner party
What are you most looking forward to about teaching at ÂÌñÉç? I am most looking forward to having fun with the PreK3s and watching them grow through learning different things every day.
What is your favorite dessert? My favorite dessert is strawberry rhubarb pie.
Do you have a pet?I have a one year old Bernese Mountain Dog, Bruce.
What are your favorite hobbies outside the classroom?​Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids. I also spend most weekends juggling my hobbies of hiking, mountain biking, canyoneering, and golf.
What is the best book you read this summer?​ One favorite of many that made me think was The Moment of Lift, Melinda Gates
Do you have a pet?​I have two cats, including one giant Maine Coon, and a bunch of backyard birds (Chickens and Ducks)
What is your favorite childhood memory? When I was very young, my family lived next door to my Grandmother. My brother and I would sneak out across the rocky driveway to her house in our bare feet and pajamas to have Poptarts and yogurt for breakfast. Then, we would sneak back home again. My mom would pretend she didn’t know what we had been up to, and we felt like we had gotten away with something big… or something like that. It was fun.
What are you most looking forward to about teaching at ÂÌñÉç?I love people, teaching, math, and coding. I am excited to combine all of those things at ÂÌñÉç! My two minute commute isn’t bad, either!

What are you most looking forward to about teaching at ÂÌñÉç?Everyone seems so passionate about teaching and learning. I’m excited to work hard and to belong to a community where learning is so valued.

What is the best book you read this summer?​The Importance of Not Being Ernest: My Life with the Uninvited Hemingway, by Mark Kurlansky (Aside from all of the great literature that I have been reading from my classes).

I am looking forward to those informal conversations with students when they have discovered something for themselves that interests them so much that they have to share it and share every insignificant detail about it, just to convince you that it really is interesting.

Who is the most interesting person you have met?William Kittredge is one of my favorite authors and I happened to sit just a few rows away from him on a flight, I even had one of his books with me.
What are you most looking forward to about teaching at ÂÌñÉç? I can’t wait to be part of such a fantastic community, I have been blown away by the camber of work produced by students at ÂÌñÉç.

What is your favorite childhood memory?Favourite childhood memory is visiting the Natural History Museum when I was about 5 years old and standing under a Diplodocus skeleton
What are you most looking forward to about teaching at ÂÌñÉç? II am most looking forward to immersing myself in a new culture within the school as this will be my first teaching experience in the United States.
What is your favorite song or album?IIt’s constantly changing, but I’m constantly streaming Change by Djo
What is your favorite dessert?I love brownies and cake! (really anything chocolate!)
What is your favorite childhood memory?I loved visiting Utah when I was younger (I lived away for 14 years) and seeing all of my family members.
What are you most looking forward to about teaching at ÂÌñÉç? Working with like minded people and working with these amazing students!
What is the best book you read this summer?So far, it’s neck and neck between The Hunger Games series (which was the first time I’ve read them!) and 11/22/63 by Stephen King.
What are your hometown?​My hometown is Greeley, Colorado! A small-ish town that probably felt smaller to me since I grew up there.
What is your favorite childhood memory?I grew up in a household of sports fans, and I think my favorite childhood memories are rooted in going to games of all varieties: watching my dad coach football/basketball, my sister play volleyball, brother play basketball/baseball/football, being coached by my dad and brother in soccer/track/etc.
What are you most looking forward to about teaching at ÂÌñÉç? I’m excited to be a part of a growing and passionate group of educators! I’m looking forward to learning from each of our experiences and to foster supportive relationships with our students.

Do you have any pets? I have a little dog named Winnie, he is a Maltese Yorkie mix aka a Morkie
What is your favorite childhood memory? My favorite childhood memory was every Summer traveling to Maryland to visit family.
What are you most looking forward to about teaching at ÂÌñÉç? The part of ÂÌñÉç that I’m most looking forward to is that ÂÌñÉç is such a positive, engaging environment that I have the amazing opportunity to be so creative in and engage with the community in that unique way.
