Class of 2025 - By the Numbers

June 5, 2025

ÂÌñÉç instills qualities of critical thought, curiosity, responsibility, and integrity as it helps students lay a foundation for college and beyond as they prepare to lead lives of meaning and purpose. Congratulations to the Class of 2025 for their accomplishments and extraordinary efforts as scholars, artists and athletes!

Perhaps more important now than ever is the liberal arts curriculum and interactive learning environment that they have experienced at ÂÌñÉç. These students will take their skills of analysis, their deep and broad knowledge of many disciplines, and their communication, reading, writing, and discussion skills into their lives as critical thinkers, scientists, humanitarians, artists, future teachers and leaders.

This class is not only prepared to excel in college but also to pursue lives of meaning and purpose in an ever-changing world that needs citizens who question and dig deeper. Students credit their love of learning to the extraordinary breadth and depth of the ÂÌñÉç college preparatory curriculum and programs, and the talented faculty who provide opportunities for each student to find and pursue their individual passions. The personal interest and attention given by the faculty helped each student succeed across a broad and demanding liberal arts curriculum.

°Â²¹³Ù±ð°ù´Ú´Ç°ù»å’s College Counseling Office guides and supports students as they consider an exciting variety of undergraduate options. Recognizing that this transition is important both for students and their families, ÂÌñÉç college counselors work individually with students and parents ensuring that each student will have college choices that align with their interests, needs, and will ultimately be the right fit for each student.

Acceptance rates far above national averages place the ÂÌñÉç Class of 2025 among the top students in the country. The colleges and universities that the Class of 2025 will attend show how much hard work has gone into their time at ÂÌñÉç and how carefully each student sought institutions of quality across the country. Students in °Â²¹³Ù±ð°ù´Ú´Ç°ù»å’s senior class will attend colleges that are suited to cultivate their passions and will continue to challenge them to succeed and excel in all of their future endeavors.

We are so proud of the Class of 2025 and the work they have accomplished through their ÂÌñÉç careers. Whether they started in PreK3 or in Upper School, they have fully engaged in learning at ÂÌñÉç, broadly and deeply in all areas of the liberal arts. Graduates have learned to think deeply, to read and problem-solve, and have come to reflect on where they want to go next. They have confidence in their abilities because of the hard work they have done at ÂÌñÉç. Colleges seek students who have learned through this quality of curriculum and experiences as they build their classes. Colleges know ÂÌñÉç graduates are academically well-prepared, which is reflected in many parts of the application. The integrity and rigor of our academic program is seen and understood, and the preparation ÂÌñÉç graduates have shown on their campuses in the past are important factors, as well as the self-reflection and writing abilities our students show in the application process.

°Â²¹³Ù±ð°ù´Ú´Ç°ù»å’s 76 Class of 2025 graduates will attend world-class colleges and universities. We are proud that they will attend 43 unique colleges. Students work one-on-one with our counselors to discover and gain admission to colleges where they will thrive. Knowing where and how to apply, and completing successful applications is achieved not just through a few months of the application process, but through learning and experiences with expert, caring, engaged teachers and coaches over the years, and through this, developing a sense of purpose. They are ready!

Sari RauscherDirector of College Counseling

ÂÌñÉç taught me to embrace curiosity. With such diverse course offerings and a plethora of student organizations, I discovered the value of chasing new experiences and maintaining a passion for learning. Whether it’s in or out of the classroom, I know this mentality is essential to finding success in college and beyond.

Whether speaking at Middle School assembly or working with the administration to support student well-being, he leads with empathy and action. The winner of the ÂÌñÉç Award, his joy, resilience, and genuine care for others make him a trusted friend, a respected peer, and an exemplary scholar-athlete.

ÂÌñÉç has taught me to have a variety of interests. I have learned to not only work to become better at what I already do, but to try different programs and activities. Teachers encourage students to always be curious, so I have known that I am supported as I try something new, even if it is uncomfortable at first. I feel well prepared for college knowing I will continue doing what I love, as well as actively seek opportunities to grow!

A top student, state champion tennis captain, and accomplished debater, he brings focus and integrity to every setting he joins. His academic achievements include graduate-level neuroscience research on neuro-fibro-matosis, where he has contributed meaningfully to both scientific understanding and patient support—founding a nonprofit, publishing a children’s book, and serving as a mentor and advocate in the national medical community. At school, he is equally committed—supporting peers, leading discussions, and mentoring younger students through STEM outreach. Sahil’s clarity of purpose, humility, and sincere desire to improve the lives of others define his character. He is a scholar, leader, and citizen of uncommon grace and determination.

ÂÌñÉç is a place with numerous opportunities to deepen your understanding of complex topics and grow expertise. I developed my leadership skills through many ways, like clubs, since I’m going into the army. Additionally, °Â²¹³Ù±ð°ù´Ú´Ç°ù»å’s rigorous curriculum taught me to manage my time efficiently, and in doing so, how to make room for all the important things in life. Because I went to ÂÌñÉç, I know whatever is demanded of me, I’ll be able to succeed.

Whether navigating the rigors of coursework or competing on the soccer field and hockey rink, Charlie approaches each challenge with focus, optimism, and poise. His quick wit, love of puzzles—especially Rubik’s Cubes—and deep appreciation for shared meals make him a welcome presence among friends and classmates. Charlie leads through character, not spectacle, and his blend of self-discipline, kindness, and curiosity speaks to the strength and sincerity of his presence.

ÂÌñÉç prepared me for college by providing a safe space where I wasn’t afraid to take risks. I have been offered many new opportunities at ÂÌñÉç and because of the supportive faculty and staff, along with my kind peers, I haven’t been afraid to try new things and challenge myself. This concept of being willing to try new things and get involved in unfamiliar activities will help me in college. Her ability to build connection and contribute with purpose speaks to a student whose presence has mattered and whose future holds great promise.

Emery Chamberlain – Brigham Young University (UT)

ÂÌñÉç stands out in the way that it encourages curiosity across subjects. The school has so many opportunities available, and with the way that they encourage breadth, I so often found myself falling in love with subjects that I never thought I would be taking in a high school setting. The classes are rigorous, and behind every single one of them is an involved and passionate teacher that encouraged me to explore their subjects in greater depth, whether that be through APs, extracurriculars, or the excellent independent study program. Their excitement is infectious and it has instilled in me the passion to continue exploring a wide range of interests during my time at university.

Cooper BenedictNorthwestern University (IL)

A Cum Laude Scholar, Cooper is also known for his loyalty, humor, and steady presence among his peers. He has developed a mature and intentional approach to learning—one marked by perseverance, efficiency, and a genuine drive to grow.

ÂÌñÉç taught me how to advocate for myself. By encouraging me to reach out for extra help or advice, teachers and faculty inspired me to take my learning into my own hands. Throughout the college admissions process, I formed close relationships with these mentors, and they ultimately helped me discover what success looks like for me.

Jema Dosembet – University of Utah (UT)

ÂÌñÉç provides incredible opportunities for their students to pursue their interests in and out of the classroom, whether that be on sports teams, academic clubs, leadership, the arts, or other areas. In my case, as early as freshman year I was given the opportunity to help coach °Â²¹³Ù±ð°ù´Ú´Ç°ù»å’s middle school math team as well as play two varsity sports. These experiences helped me grow my leadership skills and complemented what I was learning in the classroom. It’s because of these opportunities at ÂÌñÉç that I feel ready to take on the next level of challenges in college.

Kiran ReddyPrinceton University (NJ)
Kiran Reddy – Princeton University (NJ)

Kiran is an extraordinary scholar and leader whose brilliance is matched by humility, kindness, and a deep sense of purpose. A cum laude scholar, and true liberal arts student, he excels across disciplines—from independent mathematical research to environmental science and literary analysis—with intellectual curiosity and a disciplined work ethic. His perfect score on the AMC 12 and leadership on the Utah and Nevada math teams speak to exceptional talent, but what distinguishes Kiran even more is his desire to share his gifts: mentoring younger students, leading research projects, and building community through Peer Leadership Council. As a two-sport varsity captain and state champion, he leads with integrity and joy. Grounded, principled, and generous, Kiran has left an indelible mark on ÂÌñÉç and will continue to inspire wherever he goes.

My ÂÌñÉç education has taught me to truly enjoy learning. Through the dedicated faculty and inspiring peers, my love for learning never wavered despite the countless hours put into rigorous academics and extracurricular activities. At ÂÌñÉç, there is a strong culture of finding the joy in learning and practicing curiosity, which is made possible by a supportive community. Ultimately, this love for learning is something I will take to my life at University and beyond.

Additionally, the ÂÌñÉç College Counseling program has been exceptional. The support I received from my College Counselor ensured that I never felt lost during my college process. I found my interests through effective, engaging activities, and spent many hours with a counselor to perfect my college applications. With each counselor juggling around 25 students, the attention they were able to give each one was truly remarkable, as the relationship I have built with my own College Counselor helped me present as my best self in my applications.

A cum laude scholar, her intellectual range is wide—equally at home exploring linguistics, designing sculptural ceramics, or studying biology—and she brings to each discipline a grounded presence and sincere engagement. A standout athlete and member of the Chinese Taipei National Lacrosse Team, Mia also helped grow the sport locally by launching a youth program in Park City. In the classroom, she is both self-motivated and community-minded, offering thoughtful insights and modeling genuine respect. She leads without fanfare, listens with care, and quietly raises the standard for those around her. Mia’s blend of humility, competence, and creativity leaves a strong and lasting impression.

Mia Chao –  Georgetown University

At ÂÌñÉç, I learned not only how to think critically, but also how to connect meaningfully with those around me. I especially value the relationships that I had at ÂÌñÉç with faculty and staff which have prepared me for the kind of future interactions that will open new doors for me. Thanks to ÂÌñÉç, I learned that being challenged and being curious can go hand in hand and that some of the best ideas start with getting things wrong. I’m leaving with the confidence to think in new ways and the drive to keep learning alongside others.
